Choose "Disaster Relief" when selecting the charitable cause to direct your sponsorship towards earthquake relief. These sponsored lanterns and phone chargers will be distributed by our charitable partners who are responding in Turkey.

Statement from Andrea Sreshta, LuminAID Co-Founder
We are following news of the recent 7.8 earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria. This earthquake, along with aftershocks, has destroyed buildings and led to casualties, with more expected to be confirmed.
We are in touch with our nonprofit partners and customers, and will be ready to assist when relief efforts require solar lighting and portable power. The early stages of the NGO response are focused on search and rescue, so we are looking into the logistics of shipping to Turkey when supplies can be sent in.
We'll keep you updated as we receive stories and photos back from the field from NGO partners; given the evolving nature of the situation, this may take some time. Given the scale of devastation caused by this earthquake, we expect a long-term need for light and power.
