If you participate in our promotions and giveaways (the “Giveaways”) you fully accept these general terms and conditions of LuminAID (“GT&C”) and you acknowledge that you fulfill all eligibility requirements.

 

ELIGIBILITY

If you are under the age of 18 you will have to obtain the approval of your parents or legal guardians to enter to the Giveaways. LuminAID may ask you, at any stage, to provide us with proof of age and/or identity and/or proof of such approval, if relevant. LuminAID may exclude any participants who are not able to provide with such proof. Employees of LuminAID are not eligible to participate.

 

DATE OF GIVEAWAYS

The Giveaways shall start and close at the start of each month and end at the end of each month.

 

HOW TO ENTER

Enter your information through our web pop up to enter. This pop-up is only shown to new website visitors. Only one entry is allowed per email address.

 

THE WINNER

The winner will be chosen at random from all correct entries. The winner will be notified by email the next month. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 48 hours, LuminAID reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. LuminAID's decision in respect of all matters to do with the Giveaway will be final and shall not be subject to review or appeal by any entrant or by any third party.

 

PRIZE

The promotional prize shall be a gift card to LuminAID.com valued at $60, which is enough to purchase one solar lantern product plus US ground shipping.  This gift card may also be applied towards a larger purchase. If so, the customer is responsible for paying the difference in price above $60. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

 

SHIPMENT

Because the prize is provided in the form of an online gift card, the customer is responsible for selecting a shipping method during checkout. The gift card amount will cover the cost of 1 solar lantern product and US ground shipping, but international and expedited shipping methods may be at higher cost and are the responsibility of the customer.

 

PERSONAL DATA

Each winner agrees that, by participating in a Giveaway, LuminAID may use the winner’s name in any manner and in any medium for its promotional purposes without additional approval or compensation being required, including posting in a winner’s list, Instagram post and/or Instagram stories.

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By entering the Giveaway each entrant agrees to release, discharge and hold harmless LuminAID, its legal representatives, respective officers, directors, employees and agents from any damages whatsoever suffered or sustained in connection with the Giveaway or the acceptance of the prize.

 

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

LuminAID reserves its right to cancel the Giveaways at any times or change the provisions of the General Terms & Conditions at its sole discretion and such change shall have immediately effect upon the publication thereof.
