Mexico Earthquake Relief Our featured partner for Mexico Earthquake Relief is Cruz Roja Mexicana (Mexican Red Cross). Cruz Roja is a non-governmental organization part of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. Cruz Roja is based in Mexico and composed of a wide variety of volunteers and humanitarian aid workers. Cruz Roja focuses on disaster relief and a wide variety of humanitarian activities. Currently, they are focusing on providing rescue and relief to victims of the September earthquakes in Mexico City, Oaxaca, and Chiapas. Many of these areas have lost power, creating dangerous conditions for rescue workers and citizens left in the dark.
