LuminAID featured on CNN's "Start Small, Think Big"

Our company was recently featured on CNN's "Start Small, Think Big" segment about small businesses bringing new technologies to market. The segment focused in particular on our company's mission to make solar lighting a regular part of the relief aid supplies that are distributed in the event of a natural disaster or crisis. We designed the product shortly after the Haiti earthquake in January 2010 and have distributed more than 1000 lights in Haitian tent cities over the past year. Special thanks to our partner, Can-Do.org, for their continued support of the LuminAID light and for shooting the featured video footage down in Haiti.
